As the new AusALPA Air Traffic Services (ATS) Portfolio Chairman, my main focus involves overseeing the air traffic and meteorology aspects of the industry and to get involved when required, in order to make a positive difference to the piloting community. We have a great group of volunteers at AusALPA who are always monitoring current issues and potential changes that could impact our flying activities and jobs, as well as looking at how the Association can better influence these changes so that the best outcomes are delivered, preferably in line with ICAO standards and world’s best practice....
